From paper notes to loyal regulars.
Inspiration for Local Foodie began when Stuart was handed a receipt that simply read “10% off your next visit”. It highlighted how hard independent restaurants have to work to match the sophisticated loyalty tools used by big brands and how guests would happily scan a single QR if it made rewards effortless.
Working with two of his best friends — fellow food obsessives Dan and Daniel — Local Foodie was born. Together we created a simple, intelligent way for independents to retain guests, drive demand on quieter days, and compete on their own terms.
